Dr. Nakafuku, born in Japan and raised in Loveland, Ohio, near Cincinnati, completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago and attended Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine.  He has an interest in palliative care and wilderness medicine.  Outside of medicine, he enjoys hiking.
