CULINARY MEDICINE
Our culinary medicine program works to educate patients on the medical consequences of what, when and how much we eat, and offers practical advice and experiences to help patients develop smart, sensible, sustainable food strategies. We help guide patients to improve diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and chronic kidney disease management with better dietary choices. Culinary medicine can also assist with weight management, gastrointestinal disorders, childhood nutrition, and food allergies. Many other conditions are impacted by our food choices, so ask your provider for a referral to see how we can help.
Culinary medicine services may include grocery tours, personalized nutrient goals and tracking, a prescription produce program for those who qualify, understanding healthier cooking techniques and possible hands-on cooking classes in the future.
