Originally from Lewisburg, WV, Dr. Wood is a dedicated practitioner in the fields of Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. His academic journey began at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine where he earned his D.O. in 2008. Further developing his expertise, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency in 2011 and Geriatric Medicine Fellowship in 2012 at the Carilion Clinic - Virginia Tech Carilion. Beyond his professional commitments, Dr. Wood enjoys camping and participating in various activities with his children. With a strong sense of community, he takes pride in serving his hometown and also extends his care to patients at the Lewisburg Healthcare Center (formerly known as The Brier).
